Roles and Responsibilites:
Bosch is a German multinational engineering and electronics company and world's largest supplier of automotive components. They have a wide expanse of products and one challenge they face continually is explaining their cutting-edge technologies and products to their clients. We came up with a solution to present their products using virtual reality to create a deeper understanding and impact.
We picked out 3 of their main products: Active Assist, APAS Assistant and Transport Data Logger(TDL). We provided users with information about each of them visually and using voice over narrative.
Active Assist helps in guiding a worker to place the correct part in its correct place. To demonstrate this, user can trigger animations to carry out tasks using NutRunner drill on an engine guided by the Active Assist.
APAS Assistant is a robotic arm that senses user proximity and adjusts its speed accordingly for safe operation. For this, we allowed users virtually walk closer to the APAS Assistant to watch its speed slow down and then raise their hands into its path to bring it to a halt.
TDL is a device that can be attached to shipments and measure and report various values such as tilt, shock, humidity and temperature to a mobile app. This was displayed on a miniature landscape in VR while showing corresponding value changes on the android app.
